I signed a contract for a set monthly sales draw. Anything sold above this I make 9% commission. My employer is shorting my commission by deducting a higher draw amount than what i agreed to. My weekly take home pay shows no increase, which it should. The difference is $760.00/mo. This has been happening since Feb 2010 and I just noticed it. What are my legal rights to this money?

inside sales; back in the day, we did our own commission deductions and signed for them. since feb, the company took over this function. oversight on my part?

You are getting shorted $760 a month and you don't notice it for 10 months. Come on! you need to come up with a better story than that.

look mlane58, i'm in need of advice not sarcasm. The company changed the game and didn't inform any of us verbally or written. my draw % is now higher than some co-workers. they're handling all the #'s. the year end statement showed some things that didn't add up. Now, do you have something helpful to add?

No, because it doesn't make any sense how anyuone doesn't notice that large amount of money each money not in their paycheck. No matter how you slice it, you can't convince me you went 10 months and overlooked it. I have employees who mentally disabled and notice if there is the slightest discrepency in their checks.

Maybe they should respond to this forum instead of you. Their advice and grammar would at least be better than yours.
