Hello,

I am looking for a good family law lawyer for my brother. Last year, there was a custody case for my 3 year old niece and the mom got full custody. My brother and the mother are still legally married. We want to re-open the custody case because she lives in NC and SC (she's always between both places). She has blocked my brother's phone, my phone and my mother's phone. My brother also asked her if he could go pick her up in NC/SC and she is refusing to let him see her. So if anyone has any advice or know of any good family law lawyers(in the Houston area), I would greatly appreciate it if you could pass on your knowledge onto me.
Thanks!

It is against the rules of this site, or any similar reputable one, to recommend speciic attorneys.

He can contact the county chapter of the American Bar Association's Legal Referral Service, look in the phone book for attorneys specializing in family law and meet with several of them. If he can't afford an attorney, he can contact Legal Aid.

this is your brother's issue

the only one who can do anything legally is your brother. you have no standing where this child is concerned.. if he has orders for visitation and mom is refusing to obey the court order, then he( not you) should file for contempt. this matter( and any matter concerning the child) is between your brother and mom and legally none of your buisness

Ignore lonely. She is the board troll and has nothing else better to do than to tell people to MYOB.

Does your brother have a court ordered visitation schedule? He can go to www.laywers.com or google family law attorneys in his area. If mom is in contempt of a vistation order he can try to be awarded legal fees too.
