Well, I am a green card holder and I kept this for the last 24 years . I am out of the country for a long time- more than 3 years, but I don t want to lose it. I ´ve filled all the IRS reports and payed the taxes. So, my point is: if my gren card is revoked, despite of my allegations by the Immigration at my port of entry, wil I be deported or can I get a temporary tourist visa?

2. What about crossing the border by car at Niagara, for example, meaning , in this case, I will not be technically deported, but just with an entry denied, I could go back to Canada and ask for a tourist visa, without the shame os being de0ported. Is that rigth?

3. Is there any chance of ask to a reentry permit being out of the country°
Thank you so much.

Sometimes it works, other times it won't. These are perilous times according to our immigration officials. They claim to be on "high alert".

What's the worse that could happen?

What's the best that could happen?

The choice is yours.

Tank you , but I didn understand the real scenes. The best , I got it. But can my entry be denied, even if I agree to resign to the status? Thank you all

Only the government officials can deny or admit you.
We do not know what the government will do.

Why not go to the nearest US Embassy or US Consulate and ask one of the duty officers that question?

That way, you'll get a better answer and avoid embarrassment and not get detained at the border.
