I have to use some software at work.

1. one of them implies the use of dongle when to run it.
I would like to know if I install the software in more than one computer, for all the coworkers and to run it with the donlge when need we are legal?
I do no have dongle for all of them but they do not run this simultaneously.

2. the second one it is a software for equipment, to record automatic experiments. I would like to distribute it to the coworkers in order to do the data evaluation on their desk and to let the computer attach to the equipment to record new data. It is legal to do so?

thank you

Does the employer have a multi-user license for the software? Does the EULA on the software allow it to be loaded onto multiple machines?

Without reading the license information, no one here can possibly say.

Most likely if it is activated by a dongle it is fine to have it on more than one computer because it can not be used by more than one person at a time.

In all instances, the answer is to look at the terms of the license for the software. You may need to ask someone who has this information. A dongle implies use on one machine but is a protection measure, not an indication of any legal permission.
