The person in the dealership showed me his card and his card said "FLEET SALES MANAGER". He also sold a car to someone i knew as well.

I put 6000 dollars down for a vehicle at a new car dealership. Since the deal didnt go through i wanted my money back.

I want my money refunded, so he said to come in, on monday, i came, he wasn't there. It was then that i found out he misrepresented himself, NO MANAGER, only a sales person. The manager said he would be at work the next day, i came, again, NO SHOW, the dealership says they never received the money from him and that he broke every rule in the book. His managers and the General Manager all confirmed with him that he took my 6000 dollars as a down payment. i just want my money back. will the dealership have to refund this money?
- He represented the dealership
- Fleet sales manager / misrepresentation
- 6000 down / he doesn't have it / wants me to "talk" with him, not the dealership
- took my down payment on the car lot
- They(GM) asked for one day to resolve this.
- The salesman called and stated this has nothing to do with the dealership!

Immediately call the police and file a complaint. The police may not be able to get your money back, but this felon will be prosecuted.

It looks as if the dealership knows what the deal is, and they're not going to refund your money. Youay never get it back.

Sure, you can sue this creature, but I suspect your money has been gambled away, sucked up his nose, or smoked away on crack or "meth"!!!

In the meantime, call the police and get this thief arrested. Then call the local tv stations and newspaper to let them know how the dealer thinks it isn't their problem.

Finally, never give anyone cash without getting a receipt. In fact, a money order or cashier's check would have been wiser. Or, a $50 deposit to get things moving and the rest at signing would also have worked!!!!

I have a receipt on a piece of paper, with his business card attached.
- signed by him, in his office, in the dealership.
Actually, the dealership (GM) isn't denying he's a Fleet sales manager (FSM).
In fact, GM agreed he is a FSM, but, only for internet sales!
I also only said certain details at the dealership.
- i gave 6000 to their FSM.
- the deal didnt go through
- i want a refund
- his business card says "FLEET SALES MANAGER"
Do i have any chance of getting a refund?
