I called them and they do not address speeding tickets outside of court, therefor I have to appear in court to settle this so before I can ask for the plea, should I answer guilty or not guilty?

Hi, I could use some help. I received a speeding ticket in Fayetteville, NC for 79 in a 65. I want to ask the DA if I can plea down to 9 over or maybe ask the judge for a Prayer For Judgment Continuous. But before I can do that I have to answer (Guilty, Not Guilty, etc) when my name is called...
