Thanks for the input. Is it worth it to fight to get his file changed to something other than fired? He doesn't want to go back there, but is afraid that having "fired" on his record may keep him from future employment opportunities.

Texas. And I agree that he should just take his hat in his hand and move on. But it's the unjust feeling that's hard to get over. You know... treat others the way you want to be treated... and then you get kicked in the face.

So my husband was fired after being with the job for more than six years. The company he works for has been in dire times for the past year. They filed for bankruptcy, have been bought by a private equity group, gone through several layoffs, etc. My husband survived all of these... until now...
