court date In Oregon, the cop doesn't show up for the first court date, only if you plead not guilty then they schedule you another court date. That's when the cop is suppose to show up.

envelope Yeah, he needed a knife, it was a thick plastic envelope, almost like lamination. It's made so you have to use a knife or scissors. The courts do this to juveniles in our county so that if they get pulled over again, it says on the envelope to mail the license back to our county.
