my friend went to a community college. he was taking a math class there.
he did not go to class (because the teacher was not good). and the teacher drop him out. now he has less than 12 hours which is out of statics.
the school said he needs to back to home country and apply everything all...
you should talk to an immigration lwayer because the jail time is more than 6 months which does not fall into the exception. You need to be really careful.
what did you do to be charged???
and do you know what the maximum jail for that misdemeanor? (I assume it is less than a year.)
By the way, you probably need to wait for 5 years after that misdemeanor to apply citizenship.
if your max jail time is less than 1 year then it would fall to petty offense exception. then you don't need a waiver for that.
if you don't feel confidence, then you can see an immigration lawyer.
your case is so serious... you should talk to a immigration lawyer ASAP.
as i see, they may deport for so many crimes that you were convicted... a lawyer might find some way to help you.
It is illegal to download movie or music on the internet
how about watching movies online? like people usually cut the movies into different part and put it on youtube or other video websites. are those illegall too?
as i understand, as long as the crime was not dangerous to the USA or a US zitizen. One should be able to get a waiver, right?
as you knew my case, do you think it was dangerous to this country or a USA citizen?
I still cannot find if Expungement is ok with canada
