Should we have done a brand new lease with the new property manager after the original lease was over?

Can the 2nd property manager extend the original lease when he is not on the original lease?

If they are representing the owner should this be outlined in the lease? I was under the impression I have no agreement with the owner only with the leasing company.

If I had a lease agreement with one property manager and the owner was unhappy and transferred to another property manager...who is my lease with? the first property manager that I signed the lease with or the manager that took over or the owner who is not listed on the lease at all?
