Thanks for the info! According to my lawyer there was no actual assumption of the lease and according to GM there was no formal affirmation. I was never behind on the payments and they were made the whole time of the lease so maybe that’s why it was never and issue prior
Is reaffirming the debt the same as consumption of the lease? I called my lawyer and could only speak with the legal assistant and she said there was no “consumption of the lease “ on file .
