I had asked a laywer about it when i started to look into emancipation, i was told that because he passed away i would get that $800 until i was 21, and that i would get it living or without living with my mom, is that not true?

I have read over all of this multiple times but i dont know what all of it means, and i have questions on some things that are not mentioned in that, I also do not know how to go about and start or sort all of it out.
