    Shoplifting, Larceny, Robbery, Theft petty theft reduced to trespassing

    i was recently cited in california for petty theft but had it reduced to trespassing. how will this look on an employment criminal background check? will it state theft reduced to trespassing or just trespassing? is trespasssing still a misdemeanor?
