I want to move to Canada but have a conviction for criminal damage that happened 18 years ago...I've been told by immigration that it makes me inadmisable...is that right?...it was a non violent crime and I only paid a small fine.
I committed an offence 18 years ago when I lived in England, now I'm in Canada and being deported because immigration here say I should be inaddmisable because of my record, It was a non violent crime and I was never on trial...it was a straight forward fine for criminal damage.
