The check has cleared and we are withholding all future payments, but that won't amount to the overpayment. They were not entitled to the check and was wondering if there were any GA laws in regards to this.
We erroneously issued a large check to a vendor that we may not be able to recover because they are under going financial trouble. What legal recourse do we have to recover these funds if we are not paying the vendor anymore?
