Is fingerprining a mandatory process for the embassy to do, every time a person that has dismissed misdemeanor (admissible) applies for the visa? I mean, if they have done it ones and received info from FBI that I'm clean, will they do this all the time? Also, do you know if consulates are ok...

Can someone please explain what does community service mean for INS? Conviction? Does it make a difference if the case was dismissed? Based on what I know many cases are dismissed after community service is served. But are these peope still considered "guilty" or "convicted" for INS purposes?

i dont know what they received after fingerprining i guess some kind of report. it was just frustrating to wait. it took almost 2 months to get it done and hear fromthem, after that they called me to tel that i should come pick up my visa
