I received a request tcounter request to set case for trial unlawful detainee but imove out over two months ago and possession is no longer a issues what do i do?

Could be several reasons for that. The landlord might need a court to rule on possession because you might not have returned the keys or left personal property behind. He might also be seeking a judgment for unpaid rent or damages. Could be any number of other things.

I suggest you either go visit the courthouse and review the case file to see what's happening or contact the landlord to find out what he's up to and how you can resolve it before it gets to trial.

It might just be a matter of signing something that surrenders the premises and getting the case dismissed or it might be a matter of paying the landlord if you owe him something (or if he says you owe him something).

Could be a lot of other things.

The last thing you need is a judgment against you that will follow you around and make life difficult for you for many years to come.
