I recently filed for modification of custody through free legal advice. My son was born in '07 and my daughter in '08. My daughter lives with me and my son lives with his father. I would like both of my children home with me. Since I filed , the father has hired an attorney and is unwilling to let my son live with me and his sister. What can I do and what should I expect in oncoming proceedings?

A LOT of details are missing. Were you ever married or was paternity ever established legally? Is there a current court order which gives the father custody? Why do you want your son to live with you now? Why was custody granted to the father in the first place?
