My boyfriend and I desperatley want to get married, but the problem is that he can't find his "wife". Even the police are looking for her and no one can seem to get in contact with her or anyone in her family. Where would we begin to start if he can't serve her divorce papers?

So glad I found this forum! :D I have the same problem! My boyfriend was married in Georgia in 2001, but they seperated a few months later and he moved out. He is now living in South Dakota, and has been here since 2006. He wants to get the divorce, but we have no way of locating her. Also, we are not sure if we need to file here or there. I'm pretty sure it will be uncontested ( they don't own anything together and haven't spoke since he moved out), but we have no idea where to start. Any help is greatly appreciated!!!
