My daughter has had a Dcfs case open and one child is in placement and her newborn still in the hospital. shouldnt Dcfs give me the children being I am the maternal grandmother and I am very close with my grandchildren. And is it normal for Dcfs to give me monitored only visits this case is not against me.
And do they make grandparents livescan
Before they can visit with the grandchildren. I just want my grandchildren happy and with me

The simple answer is that grandparents have little or no "legal" rights when it comes to grandchildren.

DCFS does what's in the best interest of the children as DCFS sees it and will often keep the children away from family members with whom the problem parent may have easy access.

Bottom line: If you want to continue visiting the children you follow DCFS' rules.

DCFS can do just about anything that they believe is best for the children.
