Is there a statue of limitations if ur charged with escape from a community corrections facility? I'm wanting to no how long they have to catch u b4 they have to drop the charges. And if there is a statue of limitations on escape charges, then do they also have to drop ur felony charges as well?

If a person escapes confinement, there is no SOL.

Bottom line, the only way you won't be prosecuted is if you die, or seek refuge in a country without an extradition treaty with the USA.
