Roomate Deadbeat overstaying his welcome

I'm renting a house in Georgia. I have a guy staying with me. He is not on my lease, he doesn't help with anything - not utilities, rent or food. He was only supposed to be here 2 weeks tops. I've asked him to help with utilities or rent etc. and he refuses. How much notice do I have to give him to get him out? He is costing me too much money to keep around and he has way overstayed what he was supposed to.

This past summer your AJC explained evictions in GA.
You have to follow your state's eviction process step by stp, any misstep, you start over.
On average an eviction takes about six to twelve weeks, give or take.
This is why you don't treat your home like a Hilton Garden Inn.
