Please if anyone could answer, I'm not sure how this works, but I have 6 more months or even more until I find out if my parents get my nephew, or if the foster parents do. Does anyone know what usually happens or, can someone please help me? I don't know if my parents need an attorney to get officially keep my nephew? Please respond!

As an aunt, you aren't in the loop.
If your parents are being considered as guardians or foster parents, it might be easier if they simply asked the child services worker how the process works.

Of course your parents could hire an attorney to represent their interests.

But, it might be easier and more cost effective to ask child services first.
