Car deal suggested forgery

my wife looked leased a car and traded in my current car. Instead of calling me sign the trade in documents the dealership suggested that she just signs my name. She did this based on their suggestion in in their presence. I'm not up set with her, but I am upset with this and other unethical sales tactics. Is there anything I can do based on the dealer suggesting and knowing accepting a forged signatures?

Before you jump all over the dealer, be prepared for your wife to get caught up in the tornado, too.

I'd let it go, unless you're looking to take your wife down, too.

It's your wife who is the criminal. Forgery is a crime.

She could have said "no."
