Personal Bankruptcy Can U Claim Bankruptcy With Civil Judgement

    In 2001 I was involved in a car accident and I did not have insurance. he Insurance companyof the other person involved was granted a civil judgement against me. There was no criminal charges and there was no alcohol/drugs involved....can I claim this debt in a bankruptcy?

    Yes, you can declare Bankruptcy on it

    Thank you so much for answering me. I am so glad that I can...now finally maybe I can get my life back on track...they took my drivers license over that. Thank you so much

    Well I don’t know anything about getting your license back etc.. but I do know when you have no $$ and you file Bankruptcy so long as it is not a government entity it can be included in the discharge of the debt
