mistake on ticket in NC ?'s

If there is no court date on the ticket they should mail one out. If the address on your license is incorrect it will be on you to call and get your court date. You don't have to sign the citation in most states. The officer may have left the yr, make, and model off of your copy of the citation...

    Reckless driving + eluding police

Sounds like a good lawyer I have seen people get two weeks just for speeding that fast.

    Incorrect Plate on Ticket

If there is in fact a lot of construction in the area and vehicles parked on the roadway as to block the line of sight of on-coming traffic to you then do the easy thing and take pictures. If the construction is still going on go back to the intersection and take pictures of the vehicles. Try...

    97 MPH Ticket

Most job aps ask for misdemeanor convictions (non-traffic related). If you are applying for a job that you drive for I would go and get a 3 to 5 year copy of your driving record and attach it to your resume.

Failure to Report Personal Property Damage Accident

Do not tell anyone you had been drinking. As for the rest ... What State?

Arrest, Search, Seizure, Warrant POM, and POCS - Illegal Search & Seizure

You are correct the officer has to prove that the stop was justified. In that If he stopped you because he thought your tag light was not working and noticed that it was working only after stopping you then the traffic stop ends there. (He cannot give you a citation for a defective tag light)...

    Tickets issued after accident

I would also be intrested in the State that the citation was issued. The speeding ticket I would find hard for the officer to prove unless he was running radar/laser at the moment of the accident and witnessed the whole thing or he measured the skid distance to obtain the speed. Driving on...

    This sounds illegal...

An officer may run a computer check on a license plate number in plain view if the vehicle is not observed to violate any traffic law Paxton Vs. Georgia 62141 (09/17/1981)

Arrest, Search, Seizure, Warrant On the RUNw/Arrest Warrant

Not to mention that if you know she has a warrant and you do not turn her in you can also be charged. Just something to think about.

    Vicious Dog

NOT LEGAL ADVICE JUST ADVICE If the dog enters your yard by digging under the fence your neighbor can be cited for not following most leash laws (if the dog gets out of the fenced yard, or off a chain, or leash they are in violation). So, the next time the dog is in the yard do not tell...

    Personal Information

Oh heck just quit your job as they all are talking about you at the water cooler anyway. It will take the dept. collector at least another couple years to find you again.

    Unfair Seat belt ticket?

Only advice I would have is tell the judge just what you stated here and hope it gets thrown out. Not sure what state you live in or the cost of the citation but in this state you do not get any points and the first offense is 15 bucks so it would be cheaper to pay it than take the day off work...

    Pulled over when parked?

Yes he can stop you after you park. I would think that if he did not stop you before you parked that he was probaly running you tag through ncic. This in some cases could take a few minutes and he would not want to blue light you and then find out that the vehicle is stolen. He would just follow...

    court date question

In this state at the age of 16 you would not get a court date on the citation it would be mailed to you. I would not just pay the fine here because a citation for 30 over the limit on a 16 year old would have your license suspended. I would go to court and see if the judge would allow you to...
