Dcf neglect

My wife and I pick up her 2 children from there dad . He lives in another county. Now both the kids have told us about abuse and drugs . My wife called dcf they removed them to us for a week . But now have to return them and they are scared . My wife contacted the program admin and she said like her kids are lying and if they are doing drugs its none of her business . Is this right or are they just not doing there job right

I would assume DCF did an investigation before requiring the children be returned for visits & made their decision on what they determined to be the truth.

DCF investigated and likely found nothing. Problem is parents often times make up stories to hurt each other and children become tools in that fight. DCF deal with misinformation and lies all the time. If the children provide more info on drug abuse its best you look for validation in their stories.
