I was involved in a car accident this last April and after 7 days, my sons grandmother came to me and said to sign permission to take my son to the doctors, I had my head stapled shut, was on a pain machine, broke almost every bone in my body. Once I got home from the accident I had actually realized that the papers were guardianship.they have no intention of giving him back, what can I do to get my son back?

A voluntary guardianship is usually very simple to revoke, but there may actually be some complications.

First, where is the other parent?

Second, how long have you been fit enough to parent your child?

Finally, was the guardianship actually through the courts?
