Hello, I have a dissolution case that is 5 years old. Custody & visitation is now the fight. Neither myself or my ex have attorneys. I want to write a letter to my family law judge but do not know if that is legal, or how to takes the steps to make it happen. Any suggestions or answers would be helpful.
Thank you.

Thank you.

Writing a letter to a judge presiding over a case in which you are a litigant is considered exparte communicatiuons.

Such communications are verboten.

I suggest you litigate your case ONLY in open court, before God, Jesus, The Holy Spirit, the opposing party, The Judge, The Court Reporter, and the gallery.
