I am looking for clarification on something I read the other night. I was researching termination of parental rights in Ohio, and it stated that grounds for termination included "determination that termination is in a child's best interests" and I wondered what that meant. All forms of physical abuse were already in the list, so I'm assuming it didn't mean anything like that. What other kinds of things do they terminate parental rights for?

Abuse, neglect, willful lack of support and/or contact, marrying a child sex offender, stuff like that.
