need an answer

i have an open case with dyfs concerning my wife.she is a drug addict and she has relapsed mulitiple times while having an open case within dyfs.she has been put on a safety plan which shortly after she tested positive for drugs.she was put in a rehab and shortly after she was either kicked out of left for reasons unknown.here lies my issue,she and her parents have told me time and time again that they were told by our caseworker that it was against the law to inform me of all these incidents.does anyone have any information if this is true?..thank you in advance

Why don't you speak with DYFS and ask them your question? You need not inquire about her specifically, ask what you asked here.
Will DYFS reveal information about Betty Boop's safety plan to you? Or, ask it the way that makes sense to you.

It's true that they can't share medical information with you (which generally includes rehab information).

But they should at least keep you updated with the DYFS case.
