Your problem is from your failure to appear.

If you don't appear (or pay) and handle the citation, a FAILURE TO APPEAR warrant gets issued.

They don't expire, plus all of this will cause your driving privileges to be lost.

Don't worry about SOL, find out from the court what (or the DMV) what you need to do to rectify this.

Speeding tickets have no SOL in Ga. - you need to pay the fine or appear in court on date required. If you don't, they can issue a bench warrant at any time. (If that was your question.)
