cancelled cable

I have cable and internet services that are in my name for a house that I shared with 4 other roommates. I moved out in December and now I want to cancel those services because it is hard for me to get the money from them. Now a couple of them are threatening to sue. Do they have any grounds? They have paid the bill through the present and that is it. I want to cancel tomorrow so fast answers would be appreciated.
