Shoplifting, Larceny, Robbery, Theft disposition of retail theft reduced plea

Ok, so I searched everywhere and posted a few and no one seems to know. Can someone let me know what it means to get a reduced plea. Specifically, a summary offense retail theft which was lowered to a disorderly. What I want to know is, was the charge of retail theft dropped and/or dismissed? And a new charge was given or do both exist as 2 convictions? I just want to know if it is a dismissal, meaning it was not a guilty verdict.

Usually a reduced plea means that you are pleading guilty to a lesser non theft charge which does not carry the severity of a theft conviction.
