This story may sound silly, and I definitely regret my choices at the time and would appreciate any advice. A little over a year ago, I was going through a difficult time emotionally and so I went to see someone claiming to be a psychic. She used this fact to her advantage, claiming that something very bad would happen to a loved one if I did not pay a large sum for her services. At the time, I believed her and the situation she outlined was very plausible considering the circumstances. I first went to speak with her in Wisconsin, but then once I moved back to Arizona she subsequently moved to California. I was simply wondering if I had a case at all in this matter, and if there was any way I could get even some of what I paid back. Thank you again for anyone who offers advice.

PS: For more information, there was no written contract on either part; but I have access to my bank statements that show the amounts I had given
