Wrong info on court's public records website?? My ex-husband (divorced in 2001) and I were sued by a 3rd party collection agency (LVNV FUNDING,LLC) back in June 2006 of which I wasn't aware nor was I informed or served with any summons only my ex-husband was as per court documents, he failed to appear and a default judgment was issued but I was dismissed without prejudice. I found all these when pulling my credit report recently and the judgment shows in it as "unsatisfied", wanting to fix things up since in their public records website wrongly displays my name with the judgment STILL against me, and this has caused me plenty of credit denials beside of not being able to get a mortgage or car loan. I'm not worry about the suit since is now way past the statue of limitations in Texas (4 years) just want to clarify the real status of the judgment and get it off my record. I got the court certified disposition signed by the judge but don't know what to do next.
