Hello,
I hope I am doing this right. I am a contractor for a large newspaper company. I but papers from them. I sell those papers to my customers. This last month they went around me, (or behind my back) to my customers and had my customers pay them directly. To me this is stealing. Anyway, I need to know is there any legal action that I can take against them. If so , can you point me in the right direction?

Does the contract address anything one way or the other about this? Without knowing the contract its hard to say but I would imagine they are allowed to do this. Read the contract and post any parts of this issue. Good luck.

It says they are allowed to go to a direct billing on my customers, but it requires a ten day written notice, which we did not receive.

Because you indicate you didn't receive, doesn't mean they didn't send it.

I suggest you speak with the other party to YOUR contract.

Try to work it out between yourselves.

If there is relief for you in the courts, it won't be quick.

It also won't be cheap!
