Hi,
I just have a question about my lawyer. My lawyer won my workers comp lawsuit against my former employer(PG&E!). I worked for PG&E for over 15 years.
I am now 64 years old (benefits are suppose to start at the age of 62) while I am receiving my retirement from PG&E, I have not received my medical, and have been diagnosed with a fatal diease. My Dr. said with out a certain proceedure I only have weeks left.
Well without medical coverage there's no way to get the proceedure done,
I have gone to my workers comp attorney to ask him to help, and he said he doesn't usally do that for his clients.
My question being: If this is the lawyer that knows all about my case and won my case for me, should't he be the one that deals with PG&E for my retirement benefits? Is that not part of my case? Maybe I am totally wrong please let me know If my workers comp. Attorney is suppose to handle problems with receiving all my retirement benefits. Thank you for your time,
