I hurt my back on my job, and I went through therapy and a shot in the back, I went back to work a couple of months ago on medications, I have to keep increasing the medication to be able to go to work. The medications seem are seeming to be less effective . I talked to my boss and are employee health nurse. I feel like I am becoming addicted to this medicine. My boss thinks I can longer work in my field of work. I am wonering should I get a lawyer to look after my best interest or Let the employee health nurse see what she can do?

Get an attorney who is experienced in workers compensation laws of your state and do it NOW!
Back injuries are very problematic and if left to "the other side" they would make you good as new in a day but with spare parts which will fail in two days!
With an attorney you have a fighting chance!
