Invasion of privacy

My husband found my diary written in another language, took it to the translation agency and had it translated. He discovered some thoughts about one of the men who had loved me a long time ago and a letter which I wrote there but never sent him. Now he accuses me of infidelity based on these scraps of information. In fact, I had told everything about this man to my husband. Moreover, he showed this diary with my most private thoughts to his parents. And now he wants to divorce me and he is going to present my diary in the court as a factual proof of my infidelity. Would that be invasion of privacy, even if it is my spouse? And could the information in a diary serve as a valid justification of infidelity?
Thank you.
