Hello, I work at a large brand name hotel chain with excellent worker's compensation insurance. I was injured and taken to the hospital on an ambulance. The hospital and ambulance were given my workman's comp insurance information. The hospital was paid no problem. However, I recently received a letter from my credit card company and they lowered my available credit. I inquired further to Experian Credit Bureau and the ambulance company charged me and it is now on my credit report. How can I get it off my credit and was even legal for them to bill me when they knew it was a workman's comp claim? Could I sue them for billing me? I live in California.
