My wife got pulled over in Windsor Township to find out that we forgot to get her car registered and inspected last month. So she got a warning card that she has to show them that she got it inspected within 2 weeks and they gave her 2 citations one for the registration and one for inspection.

The policeman did not fill in any amount on the ticket saying it was a sliding scale and we have to call in to find out how much we have to pay. My question is shouldn't he have done that? Do you think we could fight this "ticket" with no price?

I need some advice, and hope you can steer me in the right direction.

Sounds to me that it is a fix it ticket--She needs to register the car and show them proof-- to be safe I would call the courts and see what they have--- But no the police does not need to write an amount on a ticket
