Bank of America called my parents house asking for me to discuss my Bank of America credit card account. They asked for me, but I was not there and my Father decided to claim he was me. The bank asked for my Social Securtiy Number. He did not have it, and who ever he talked to proceded to give him my account activity, and balance after he told them my birthdate and address. The bank had no right to give them my personal information. Then, even my mom got on the phone and got some more info. How can this be?? They didn't have the credit card number, or any other verification other than my birthday, address and mother's maiden name. Not hard information to get.

So what can I do? I am very embarrassed, and if this had someone other than my parents, then what could have happened? This whole situation has made me really angry, and I feel I have to do something about this. Can anyone tell me what my options are, and if there's any legal action I can take.

Thank you very much for your time.
