Two detectives came to my home at 11:15pm on a weeknight to question my teenage sons. We were sleeping. My 15 year old daughter answered the door. When she alerted me to the situation I came out of my bedroom to find the detectives were already in my home questioning my sons. When an adult is in the home are the police allowed to enter a home on the permission of a minor?

Can they? Sure.

Was evidence obtained as a result of their entry? If so, then there is a chance that the evidence might be suppressed.

Unless there is a law in your un-named state that requires only an adult to allow the police inside to talk to people (and I don't of any state with such a law), then I suspect that your daughter's permission to enter is valid for this purpose. She might not be permitted to grant consent to search, but to come inside and speak to two boys? Sure.

If you have a problem with the attitude, demeanor, or actions of the officers, you may complain to their employing agency.
