Attorney fees

My ex is taking me to court to emancipate my oldest son and therefore modify the child support. He is also asking for me to pay HIS attorney fees, how or what do I do to prevent the court to make me pay his attorney fees?
I appreciate any help with this.
 
Juat because he is asking does not mean he will get it. Are you not dropping the CS when the oldest turned of age? Why is he getting an attorney? If the courts feel you have not cooperated with him and made him get an attorney, I suppose its posible but I would not worry about it until the court orders it.
