My father passed away in January,he had estates in Spain,Scotland and usa.
Our stepmum has only produced one will,a spannish will leaving her the spannish estate. He has a clause in the spannish will which says he's "currently maintaning wills in other countries in reference to patrimony".Can you tell me if there was no other wills would this clause be in his will. Our stepmum is having our family home in Scotland go to administration s she can claim her third of estate. This was our grandparents house and i know our father wanted it to go to my brother and myself.I think she is hiding other wills to do with usa and Scotland. What can i do?;)

Unfortunately, unless you can prove their are other wills, there is nothing you can do. It is not unusual for a will to "disappear". Did he have an attorney?

He would have had an attorney our stepmother wont give us any information.I was trying to start a will/estate trace.I live in England so that seems to be the drawback.Thank you for your reply
