Thank you for having an interest in my post,

My sisters boyfriend presented himself as our lawyer and stopped a legal transaction of a will. I had just found this out in a heated argument a couple of months ago. They have successfully kept me from knowing about this for around eleven years. As a result of this I was never given my part of the will.

This hasn't been confirmed yet as I don't know where this had taken place. I just need to know where I stand on this in order to know if I should start investigating. I was told that my signature would of been needed for the change of the will, which would mean someone forged my name also

My questions are, is there a statute of limitation on this type of crime
And if I find this to be true, would it be under the discovery rule since
I never knew of this crime done against me? At the time it was about a
sixty thousand dollar loss on my part.

I know this must sound like something from a movie script
Thank you for your time,
LittleSis.

You really don't have enough facts. Everything right now is hearsay. Go to the probate court in the county where the person died and get a copy of the file. Then go to an attorney for an opinion. The court will mail you a copy for a small fee.
