My husband and I have a judgement against us for a substantial sum of over19,000 from back in 2004 on a open-ended credit card account with a bank in Az. There has been no communication with the bank since then. Is there any point I no longer have to worry about wage garnishment or my savings account being seized due to a staute of limitation? Can the creditor renew a judgement in the state of AZ? Can they seize a CD? In other words, shall I remove any and all savings from my bank just to be safe? How long would I have to do this?
