Can My Current Husband Be Held Accountable?

Jurisdiction/Place:

I have filed for Innocent Spouse Relief from a previous marriage which is in the process of being resolved by the IRS. I have since remarried and was wondering if I file a joint return with my current husband, and the Innocent Spouse issue is not resolved in my favor, if he can be held accountable for taxes owed from my previous marriage.

you probably file jointly with your present spouse, correct? Your question is whether YOU will be held responsible. Do you think YOU will be held responsible if not resolved in your favor?
