My Calif. Corp was disolved 4/2006. I quit doing business in Oct. 2004. I have a promissory note signed 2/2005 for charge backs on my account with them. I have been making payments as I can, (100.00). Contract states the amount may be increased from original amount if more charge backs occur. The original contract amount was 2300.00 in 2005 when signed. It increased to over 4000.00 during the last few years, now I have a balance of 4200.00. In addition, I received a phone call from the company saying I owe an additional 1100.00. They want to offer a pay off amount. I never knew about the additional 1100.00 all these years. My questions is, am I liable for any of this debt being my corp. was disolved in 4/2006? Can they go after me personally or the the corp?
Thank You
